In a remarkable display of community spirit, the American Rental Association (ARA) Foundation along with The Toro Company Foundation recently dedicated their efforts and resources to rejuvenate the Youth Crisis Center (YCC) in Jacksonville, Florida. On April 30, numerous volunteers and equipment from various organizations, including Ditch Witch and Sunshine Event Rentals, joined forces to enhance the center’s seven-acre property. The initiative's outcomes extend beyond aesthetic improvements; they directly facilitate therapeutic healing for the youths who rely on YCC's services. “The beautification of our shelter helps with the therapeutic care we are able to offer,” expressed Pete Hicks, chief development officer at YCC. The ARA Foundation's commitment to the YCC included a generous $20,000 grant to assist with project expenses, enabling the center to focus its financial resources on core operations rather than grounds maintenance.
